Want to connect to remote MDB file in window services
Hi Friends,
This is Selvam.
I have a problem, recently I worked with window services. I used MS access DB, If I used my DB within application my window services working fine.
If I put my MDB file in a remote system, Window service not able to access it. Following error happened.
"The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file '\\Server\Shared on server\myDB.mdb'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data."
I checked the database & folder , it is not opened and not readonly also. I dont know how to access the remote mdb file. please give solution for this problem
