please tell me what is angular service and module ? is angular service used to consume dotnet web service/ wcf service or web api ?

thanks for answer. i am not familiar with angular but these days angular is getting very popular. i guess module means when people write many javascript functions in file. suppose i have few function written in my validate.js file. so i guess validate.js file will be called a module. can u show me how to load a module by angular and how to call any specific function from module by angular and also need to pass parameter as value for function call. thanks

In Mdoule var app; (function () { app = angular.module(YourModule Name []); })(); [] is used to add your parameter its like similar like in function we pass the parameter. and for service in detail kindly go through the link which i provided in my previous answer. and also check this link for very simple understanding of AngularJs. http://www.w3schools.com/angular/angular_modules.asp

thanks Sanu what is the meaning of the below ng module code var app; (function () { app = angular.module(RESTClientModule []); })(); why we need to use this symbol [] ? angular service is used to call our business logic written in wcf or web api level ? through angular service can we call mvc action method ? looking for help. thanks
