Xamarin Development - Visual Studio vs Xamarin Studio

Question

Who is the Best Visual Studio or Xamarin Studio in Xamarin Development ?.

Vincent Maverick Durano · Accepted Answer

Microsoft recommend that developers now use Visual Studio on both Windows and Mac. If you are on MacOS, Visual Studio for Mac has all the features of Xamarin Studio, adds cloud and web development, and contains improvements for cross-platform mobile development.   The latest version of Visual Studio allows you to install all features you need for building apps, including Xamarin, .NET Core, Azure Cloud and more. So it is recommended to use Visual Studio to get flexibility of what features you want to install on your machine.   https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/

The Visual Studio and Xamarin Studio have same features. In Xamarin Studio can't create Xamarin.Forms UWP Projects(If you need install Windows SDKs and develop it). but in Visual Studio all the features are in-built or Install easily. So i recommend Visual Studio for Xamarin Development
