What Prizes Would You Like

Question

Starting Jan 2011 we are working on new prizes and better tracking. If you had a choice what kind of prizes would you like us to give away. Here are some examples: Windows Phone Digital Camera Wii Computer accessaries such as Pen Drives Mouse or Mouse pads T-shirts hats Awards and trophies OR should we have different prizes each month? Anything else which is not in the list? Prize can't more more than $400. Unfortunately we have a limited budget. Please share!

:) :) First of all I Appreciate Mahesh to ask such a good thread in open forum to all the members. I didnt see any websites asking their members what kind of prize you need. Thats great ! I suggest better the admins decide what the prizes must be. Also as Mani said Frequently getting the same prize wont be good. Make it a cycle/loop every time a new prize must reach all winners. About Monthly Winner Certificates i won't prefer. If its something like best yearly contributed (articles/blogs/firums etc..) member then certificates (Awards and trophies) fine. That will be treat as a special one. For every month there it will be like no value for certificates.

I think many people would appreciate a certificate or a plaque but it would be especially appreciated if it had the person's name on it. I can understand that that would be more work but it would also be more appreciated. A digital camera would be nice but a webcam would be good too. Perhaps a Bluetooth headset would be useful but I don't know if they are as useful in all countries. I have a Bluetooth adapter for my computer; I can pair a Bluetooth headset to it. Mine is supposedily capable of a range of 100 meters; most are only capable of 10 meters. How about a Blu-ray burner? Perhaps a SSD but I don't know how practical it would be to convert an existing system to a SSD. I have seen Netbooks under $400. Perhaps a LCD monitor; especially a good one that is useful for videos and television; a LCD that has a LED balcklight would be especially good. Perhaps a web site hosting account would be useful. It would be a problem if someone could not afford to continue paying for the service after the time period that they get as a prize but if it was offered as a choice that people could choose to accept or choose something else then the hosting service could be a very appreciated prize.

Hi sir If you provide me the certificate along with the prizes will be good (with the name like C#corner --------Month Winner). We can have 4 to 5 choices in each prize. 1st Prize - Digital Camera Cell Phones etc... 2nd Prize - Pen Drive External Hard Drive etc.. 3rd Prize - Mouse etc.. Like this each prize could have some choices where the user can select their item. Frequently getting the same prize wont be good. If we allow the users to select their choices from the list it will be an interesting one. They will very much happy to select the prize items based on their needs. It could satisfies them a lot. Its Just a suggestion from my side others comments also required.
