Hi,
Create view call it in sp then use sp, view is virtual, sp complies only one time
in your requirements if your retrieving data again and again then follow the above
normal queries complies everytime when you call it's performance issue

All have their own significances and drawback. What are your actual problems for which you are looking for some problem?   In both view and stored procedure you have to write Select statment to get data. If you do not have to execute the query again and again in that case normal select query is fine.   In case of long query or repeatitive need of data you can either create a view or stored procedure. View don't take memory itself. Stored Procedure is the compiled object.
