Window block while opening sql connection

Question

Hi everyone I had developed a wpf application which uses sql serverall works fine but when I open a connection it blocks the current UI and donot allow user to interact. For the solution I open the connection on a seperate thread but nothing happens.. it also blocks the current UI. Kindly give some suggestion which donot block the current thread and allow user to interact on window.

Hi akshay please read the question again it is not getting error. It simply blocks the user interface until the cinnection is open but when connection is established.. user interface is responding.

kindly please tell what error are you getting if you are writing your connection string in CS file or in App.config .post your erro here
