WPF Application for calculating distance between two places

Question

I have to create a WPF project  in which i have to write a web service which return distance between input parameters pickup and destination i also have to show pickup and destination points on map  I am new to WPF any one have an example like that or suggestion regarding that work. Web Service cannot run in WPF it can only be consumed by a WPF application. You need to create a project in WCF and then use it in your WPF project.
