As a Technical Business Analyst within the CMS Global Data Operations team, you will play a vital role in leveraging data to generate insights, analytics, and actionable business intelligence. Your responsibilities will encompass understanding and documenting business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting trend analysis, and enhancing operational performance through data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements, collaborating closely with BI Manager/Report Developers and functional business units to deliver accurate and timely insights.
- Conduct trend and root cause analysis to provide valuable customer and business insights, driving strategic objectives.
- Support internal teams in presenting data effectively, influencing stakeholders with subject matter expertise.
- Enhance operational performance through the analysis of operational data and KPI scorecards.
- Provide input into the usage of data across technical and non-technical solutions, working closely with key stakeholders.
- Support business-wide data quality initiatives, fostering a culture of data governance and awareness.

- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and experience in data migration projects.
- Proficiency in MS Excel as a preferred business tool, coupled with proven analytical skills.
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe) and tools like Jira.
