Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced DataPower Developer with 5-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications, and designing and implementing testable and scalable code.
Responsibilities
- Configure Web service proxy for SOAP & REST-based web services using Datapower.
- Administer Datapower, including installation, upgrade, configuration, security, and monitoring.
- Configure and support dynamic routing.
- Configure AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Auditing) in Datapower.
- Configure load balancing SSL/TLS connection in Datapower.
- Manage the deployment of XSLT, XSD’s, and WSDL’s.
- Install Datapower firmware updates based on upcoming patches.
- Handle code migration and implementation using Datapower appliances.
- Develop Datapower-based solutions using Web-Service Proxies, Multi-Protocol Gateways (MPG), and XML Firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with XML, SOAP, XSLT, XSD, XPATH, WSDL, Web Services, WS Security Policy, WSRR, and CLI.
- Coordinate with IBM for problem resolution based on PMR requests.
- Daily duties include DataPower configuration, creating deployment plans to promote code, testing, and troubleshooting nonproduction and production issues.
- Manage day-to-day system development and maintenance activities for DataPower deployment.
- Coordinate with 3rd party customers and deploy certificates.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience as a DataPower Developer.
- Proven expertise in configuring Web service proxies, administering Datapower, and handling dynamic routing.
- Hands-on experience with XML, SOAP, XSLT, XSD, XPATH, WSDL, Web Services, WS Security Policy, WSRR, and CLI.
- Experience in DataPower firmware updates, code migration, and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Auditing) in Datapower.
- Familiarity with load balancing and SSL/TLS connection configuration in Datapower.
- Ability to coordinate with IBM for problem resolution.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for both nonproduction and production issues.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
