As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, modification, debugging, and maintenance of sophisticated software systems. You will focus on specific modules, applications, or technologies, tackling complex assignments and ensuring the software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and supportable.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise. Investigate and resolve issues by debugging solutions, providing workarounds, and reviewing changes to maintain existing software solutions.
- Module Ownership. Take accountability for specific modules within an application, offering technical support and guidance during solution design and problem resolution.
- Product Demonstrations. Present software product demos to partners and internal/external customers, using your technical knowledge to influence the product’s direction and evolution.
- Continuous Improvement. Drive efficiencies and improvements in software and business processes through innovative techniques and automation. Simplify the client/end-user experience and reduce complexity.
- Technical Leadership. Lead discussions related to product/application/modules/team, including technical design reviews. Establish and maintain relationships with internal customers and partners.
Requirements
- Education. Bachelor’s degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent.
Core Skills
- Strong knowledge of core JAVA, with hands-on experience in Multithreading and concurrency API.
- Expertise in performance tuning and monitoring Java applications, including analyzing heap and thread dumps.
- Proficiency in Design Patterns, Data Structures, REST/SOAP, and database technologies.
- Experience with Shell Script and Linux.
- Familiarity with the telecom domain (GSM, LTE, 4G, 5G), network architecture, and diameter protocols (Gx, Gy, Sy).
- Knowledge of GUI frameworks like AngularJS, HTML, and Vaadin.
