Google has finally released the long-awaited new version of Android. The previously known "Android O" operating system is finally released with the name of
Android 8.0 Oreo.

As one can predict, Android 8.0 is smarter and faster with more powerful features than the previous versions. In the
official announcement, Google stated,
“It’s smarter, faster and more powerful than ever. It comes with new features like picture-in-picture and Autofill to help you navigate tasks seamlessly. Plus, it’s got stronger security protections and speed improvements that keep you safe and moving at lightspeed. When you’re on your next adventure, Android Oreo is the superhero to have by your side (or in your pocket!).”
According to the company, Android Oreo is equipped with four superpowers.
It’s become powerful with the picture-in-picture that lets the users see two apps at once, and the Notification dots functionality brings the ability to check the new notifications in an app without opening it.

Android Oreo is made superfast providing it with the functionality of fast boot up and a new Autofill feature along with the support to Android Instant Apps that work instantly without needing an installation.
And finally, it has become a smarter and seamless OS with the integration of a set of fully-redesigned emojis along with a fleet of 60 new ones. Android 8.0 Oreo prevents the unintentional overuse of battery life by background apps to run the battery longer.
Also, Google informs us,
“ We're pushing the sources to Android Open Source Project (AOSP) for everyone to access today. Pixel and Nexus 5X/6P builds have entered carrier testing, and we expect to start rolling out in phases soon, alongside Pixel C and Nexus Player. We’ve also been working closely with our partners, and by the end of this year, hardware makers including Essential, General Mobile, HMD Global Home of Nokia Phones, Huawei, HTC, Kyocera, LG, Motorola, Samsung, Sharp and Sony are scheduled to launch or upgrade devices to Android 8.0 Oreo.“
