ASP.NET Core 2.0 Released

Microsoft’s ASP.NET team has announced the release of ASP.NET Core 2.0 on August 14, 2017. Microsoft also released .NET Core 2.0 and Entity Framework Core 2.0 along with this.
 
As per the company blog,
 
“This release features compatibility with .NET Core 2.0, tooling support in Visual Studio 2017 version 15.3, and the new Razor Pages user-interface design paradigm. With the ASP.NET Core 2.0 release we’ve added many new features to make building and monitoring web apps easier and we’ve worked hard to improve performance even more.”
