GitHub Developer Program Now Open For Free Accounts Too

If you are a developer and an admirer of GitHub, here is a big delightful news for you. GitHub, one of the renowned software version control repositories has now opened its famous GitHub Developer Program for free accounts too.

The company, in its official blog states,

“For over three years, the GitHub Developer Program has been a launchpad for developers—from testing their newest applications to growing their biggest businesses. We're opening the program up to all developers, even those who don't have paid GitHub accounts. That means you can join the program no matter which stage of development you're in.”

Previously, only the members with paid accounts could access the program but now, it is accessible to all the developers. Along with this, new levels of participation and additional benefits are also being offered by GitHub, so as to provide developers more opportunities to develop robust applications.

On how the new levels model works, the company suggests,

“Depending on the size of your user base, you'll be placed into one of three levels. For each group, we've made a set of benefits, resources, and tools available to help you advance to the next stage of development. If you're already a member of the GitHub Developer Program, you'll get an email with information about your level and available benefits”.

Well, if you have not registered for the program yet, you can join GitHub Developer Program now, and start building applications to move along with the developer community for faster success and growth.
