Google for Education has launched two new models – the Acer Chromebook Spin 11 and Asus Chromebook C213. Both the devices come with a touchscreen display, and these also have low-cost stylus which resembles the #2 pencils used by kids to take notes. The stylus also comes with an eraser just like a real pencil. In addition to this, kids can now easily go on to share as well as replace it as it does not require pairing or charging. This particular feature sounds especially useful for subjects like science and mathematics, when the students actually require writing formulas, equations, along with making diagrams.

In addition to the stylus compatibility, both the Chromebook Spin 11 and Chromebook C213 come with a rear camera. It seems that it has been one of the most requested features from schools, as this would allow the students to film videos and also take pictures from all angles. The Chromebooks also come with USB-C ports for faster charging.
Google has also stated that Adobe has released a suite of Android apps optimized for Chromebooks, which includes Photoshop Mix, Lightroom Mobile, Illustrator Draw, Photoshop Sketch, Adobe Comp CC, and Creative Cloud Mobile.
