As expected, Google has announced the Google Home Mini, during the Google Pixel2 event. Goole Home Mini is a miniature version of Google's AI-powered digital assistant Google Home and comprises of all the latest features that the regular Google Home encases.

Google Home Mini will be available immediately from October 19, 2017 in the US. The device will cost only $49. Yes! you read it right; a hard competition to Amazon Echo dot. Also, the company states that the smart speaker will be available in all seven Google Home countries, namely Australia, Canada, France, Germany Japan, UK, and US.
The ground-breaking features of Google Home Mini include -
- Ability to connect wirelessly to any speaker with Chromecast built-in.
- A capability of talking to 1000+ intelligent home appliances from different brands.
- Broadcasting a message to all connected Google Assistant devices within the home premise.
- Home Mini will be available in three colors - Coral, Charcoal, and Chalk or simply Red, Black, and Gray respectively.
