The launch of Azure Batch AI Training was announced by Microsoft at its
Build Developer Conference, which is a new service for batch training deep neural networks on the company’s Azure cloud computing platform. It’s unclear when it will become available for public preview, as it is still in private preview. It is a place, where developers can focus on their models and don’t have to think about operating the underlying infrastructure.
It is anticipated that it has come with the idea to give developers a service to train their machine learning models, apart from supporting any framework, so developers will be able to use Google’s TensorFlow.
It gives an opportunity to the developers and data scientists to configure the environment they want to use to train their models in addition to giving developers the ability to run their workloads on multiple CPUs, GPUs and — in the long run — FPGAs.
