Samsung's mobile payment service has been finally launched in the country today after creating buzz in the market with teasing the launch of Samsung Pay in India last month. You can now set up your Samsung Pay account and start using it for payments, if you have signed up for the early access program.
To provide superior service, Axis, HDFC, ICICI, SBI, and Standard Chartered banks (MasterCard and VISA debit and credit cards) are the collaborators with the company. With Samsung Pay app, the users are also able to add their Paytm wallet accounts in it. To provide unmatched service, Samsung is in talks with Citibank and American Express but only time will tell about the partnership with American Express.
To provide better compatibility, it works well with Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy A5 (2016), and the Galaxy A7 (2016) in India.
