It seems like Synaptics is all set to lead the world of mobile security this year. Just a month back, the company announced optical reading, which can easily scan fingerprints through glass, and now at the
CES 2017, it has unveiled a multi-factor biometric “fusion engine” which will offer users several methods of authentication across multiple platforms.
Anthony Gioeli, Vice President of marketing in Biometrics Product Division, Synaptics,

“Synaptics’ Natural ID fingerprint sensors are already significantly more secure and convenient than typed passwords, and by adding multi-factor biometrics users achieve a whole new level of exceptional device- and application-level authentication. Phase one of our fusion engine is focused on fingerprint and facial, and future iterations will include additional biometric and security factors.”
Synaptics partnered with KeyLemon, the leader in continuous camera-based facial recognition and authentication, to effortlessly integrate secure facial biometrics with NaturalID fingerprint authentication.
