Tesla Delivers First 30 Model 3 EVs

Tesla Inc., the renowned electric vehicles manufacturing company, has started delivering its latest Model 3 EVs. The handoff event took place in Fremont, California where the first 30 cars were delivered.

The CEO of the company, Elon Musk, revealed the new specifications and pricing. He stated that there will be two versions of Model 3 Evs – Standard and Long Range, costing $35,000 and $44,000 respectively. The Standard Model can run approx. 220 miles in a single charge with a top speed of 130 mph. On the other hand, The faster, Long Range Model can go 310 miles and run on a top speed of 140 mph.

The company has made initially 30 cars for delivering and 20 for validation; however, most at the receiving end are Tesla employees. The first car went to Musk himself while the fifth one is delivered to Tesla board member Steve Jurvetson.
The company stated that the customers ordering now, will receive their Model 3 EVs by the end of next year, i.e., 2018 because of the hardships encountered by the company, which Musk referred, “Welcome to production hell”. However, the company expects to produce around 10,000 cars on weekly basis from next year end.
 
Well, the Model 3 EVs look pretty cool. With the electric power, amazing features, and luxury interior as well as exterior, Tesla’s new cars will certainly set a new milestone.
