An Introduction to Cloud Based Operating Systems

Hello Guys! This time I am have something interesting for you related to cloud-based Operating Systems. So let's explore them.

Overview

Recently I was reading an article in a tech magazine. In that magazine I found a few very interesting things related to our operating systems. We generally know all these but are not aware of the functionalities.

You can try them too in your machine. So let's explore these one by one.

Available Cloud OS

This section will include some of the best and commonly used cloud-based operating systems.

Cloud based operating systems

Chrome OS

Let's see a brief introduction to the Chrome OS:

Chrome OS

Chrome OS is an open source operating system designed by Google as a lightweight web-based client. Generally it is ideal for notebooks/tablets/phablets. You can also use the Chrome OS in outdated isolated PCs.

It's key utilities are based on the internet. All data is intended to be stored in cloud servers and applications can be either web-based or run locally on machines.

Before going further let's go through few features of the Chrome OS:

    - Seven Second boot up
    - Light weight
    - Streamlined design
    - Works with nearly all types of hardware
    - Ease of access

In spite of all these there are many other features too. You can Google them. The Chrome OS has only one local application that is just the browser. Both the browser and OS are set up to be auto-upgraded from Google's servers in a seamless manner adding new updates and features.

Now let's move on to another Operating System.

JoliCloud

Before going through the details of JoliCloud, first let's see a brief introduction to it:

JoliCloud

JoliCloud is nothing but a cloud-based operating system developed by a French Organization, JoliCloud in 1980. One interesting fact about JoliCloud is that it's a web browser based operating system.

A user can easily download and use it in their machines by replacing their current OS or may be along with it.

JoliCloud also provides "JoliDrive" like Microsoft's "One Drive", Google's "Google Drive", "Drop Box" and so on. Using JoliDrive you can simply store your data and use it depending on you.
For accessing all this world of possibilities what you only need is a "JoliCloud Account". In case you don't want to create a separate option of login then you can always login using your Facebook or Google account.

JoliCloud also provides a drag and drop feature that makes it more interactive and user-friendly. It shows everything to you depending on your demand and what you want to see, like if you want all your social networking accounts in one place in any bar then you can do that by applying a few settings.

I will now tell you an interesting fact about JoliCloud that can be Jaw Dropping too. JoliCloud is used by over Two million users all over the world.

I wish some of you will give it a try.

iSpaces

Before going through the details of iSpaces, first let's see a brief introduction to it:

ISpaces

If you use iSpaces, then I can bet that you will surely love it's "Nonstop Web Based technology".

Now you must be thinking, what does this term mean?

This technology provides you the feature that even if you log out of from your native machine (for whatever reasons) then there is no reason to get worried, because you can always login with another machine and continue your work from where you left off in your native machine. iSpaces keeps everything for you without any cost.

iSpaces also provides you 1 terabyte of space for your work, applications, documents, media each and everything. You can access this space from any machine from any place (since it is cloud-based). That is the other main feature of iSpaces.

ZeroPC

Before going through the details of ZeroPC, first let's see a brief introduction to it:

ZeroPC

In the current decade we all love to keep memories in the form of photographs. It doesn't matter what kind or what size. So I hope each one of us has many pictures in our systems. Now suppose (just suppose. I wish it doesn't become true!) that one day your machine is corrupted or another loss occurs. In that case there are many solutions to overcome this problem, but let's see a new and interesting approach via your operating system (cloud space or cloud-based OS), ZeroPC!

ZeroPC solves that problem very well. You can easily send your pictures to the cloud. How? Just Google it.

In spite of all these features ZeroPC has a builtin media layer that provides cloud storage and many other basic functionalities.

ZeroPC has an application that can be downloaded to your smartphone/tablet/phablet and easily runs on an iOS or Android. If you don't have any then it has an extension app in the Chrome web store too.
I hope you guys will love using the cloud-based OS ... at least give it a try!
