Background
Google rolls out the latest version of Android i.e. Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Here are some key features:

- App Permissions
Earlier while downloading or updating any App, you need to accept the permissions which the App is going to use. But now, you can decide how much access you want to grant to any App.
- App Menu
In Lollipop, you used to have Apps on pages layout i.e. a grid of 4x5 Apps or other dimension spread across multiple pages. You flick the screen horizontally to go to new page with other set of Apps. But in Android M, Apps are arranged on a single page with vertical scroll. An additional ‘Search apps..’ section is provided at the top of page. Uninstall shortcut is provided too, you can touch and hold any App, you will see the Uninstall option at the top, Drag and drop the App there, it will be uninstalled.
- Clock Text
Now the Clock text i.e. Day and Date are all in Caps and the digits in Time are displayed in ‘Bold’ format.
- RAM Manger
You get an option to see the RAM usages in Settings Menu without using any third party app.
- Doze
To improve device standby time. Android will recognize when a device hasn’t been interacted with for a while, it reduces the background processes and extends the battery time.
- Google Now on Tap
Now from any screen, you can touch and hold the home button. Google will identify the content of screen and show you the result from web.
- Text Highlighting
The standard cut/copy/paste controls now show up in a floating toolbar, instead of an action bar at the top of the screen.
