People Field in SharePoint 2010 OOTB

Introduction

Today, in this article let's play around with one of the interesting and most useful concepts in SharePoint 2010.

Question: What is a people/group field?
 

In simple terms "It enables searching the users registered in AD on the server and use them across the application for any specific purpose".

Step 1: Open SharePoint 2010 Central Administration and navigate to a specific site.
