Introduction

In this article we are explaining how to check a hard drive for file System errors in Windows 8. If you want to increase the performance of your system, you must first remove the problems or errors on your PC hard Drives. You can scan your Hard Drive. This option is available in your Hard Drive. First you open your Hard Drive, whichever you want and right-click on your Hard Drive and select the Properties.

In the Property, you click on the Tool tab and click on the Check Button under the Error Checking. Error Checking automatically finds errors related to files and folders by scanning. Optionally any file system errors can be attached and a report generated. If you want to see the errors then you login to an Administrator account if you have logged in as some other user.

Steps How to Check Hard Drive for File System Errors in Windows 8

Step 1 : In Desktop mode, you click on Computer or Click on Libraries.

Step 2 : In this step, you can select the Hard Drive what you want and right-click on it and select the properties.

Step 3 : In this step, first you click on the Tool tab. You click on the Check Button under the Error Checking.

Step 4 : After clicking Check Button, it shows Scan Drive. If any errors are found then you can decide if want to fix them.
