Introduction
This article explains how to customize the Recycle Bin Settings in Windows 8. Basically the Recycle Bin stores data that has been deleted from your system. The Recycle Bin Settings in Windows 8 helps a user to recover the data if necessary. In these settings, you can set the Custom Size for Bin Storage. In these settings, you can permanently remove the data from the Recycle Bin. It provides the message while deleting files such as Recycle Bin Memory full.
Steps How to Customize Recycle Bin Settings in Windows 8
Step 1 : In the Desktop Mode, you right-click on the Recycle Bin and then select the properties.
Step 2 : The Recycle Bin Property Window will be open and in this window, you can assign the maximum storage, increase the Recycle Bin Storage Memory and enter the MB's in the "Maximum size box". This is shown below.
Step3 : In this step, you can enable the option to immediately remove files when deleting without storing them in the Recycle Bin. You can check the box next to "Don't move files to Recycle Bin". You can click on the Check box to enable which display confirmation before delete option and click on the Apply or Ok Button.
