Disable Limit Profile Size in Windows 8

Introduction

This article explains how to disable Limit Profile Size in Windows 8. If you disable this policy setting or "Not Configure" it, then the system does not limit the size of user profiles. 

How to Disable Limit Profile Size in Windows 8

Step 1

Move the cursor to the bottom-right and select the search box and enter into the search box what you want; see:

In the search box you type the gpedit.msc under the application tab and click on the window that appears.

Step 3

After clicking on the gpedit.msc, you will see the "Local Group Policy Editor" window.

Step 4

In the User Configuration, choose subcategory Administrative Template and choose System and choose User Profile. In the User Profile category, you click on the Limit Profile Size.

Step 5

In this step right-click on "Limit Profile Size" and click on the edit tab.

Step 6

In this step, click on the "Disabled" Button or "Not Configured" Button then the system does not limit the size of User Profiles.
