Introduction
In this article we are explaining how to disable Windows Explorer Animation for all users in Windows 8. Animation can consume a lot of space during various actions such as minimizing and maximizing. Windows adds the eye-candy factor to the interface. If you want to disable it, you can disable it using the Local Group Policy Editor. You click on the "Enabled" Button on "Do not Allow Window Animation" Window then window animation is turned off. If you click on the "Disabled" or "Not Configured" Button then Window Animation is turned on.
Steps How to Disable Windows Explorer Animation in Windows 8
Step 1
You move your mouse to the bottom-right and click on search as shown below:

In the search box you enter the gpedit.msc under the application tab and click on the window that is shown.

In the window that is shown, you will see the "Local Group Policy Editor" window.
Step 4
In this step I want to disable Windows Explorer Animation for all Users in Windows 8. Click on the Computer Configuration sub-category Administrative Template sub-category Windows Component sub-category Desktop Windows Manager and click on the "Do Not Allow Windows Animation".

Step 5
In this step right-click on the "Do Not Allow Windows Animation" and select the edit tab and click on the edit tab.
Step 6
In this step, if you click on the "Enabled" Button then window animation is turned off. If you click the "Disabled" or "Not Configured" Button then Window Animation is turned on. If you want to disable to Windows Animation then click on the Enabled Button and click on the "OK" or "Apply" Button.
