Introduction
In this article we are explaining how to enable the Windows Startup Sound in Windows 8. The Microsoft Windows Startup Sound is heard during System Startup and can be turned on or off in the Sound item of the Control Panel.
If you disable this policy setting, the Windows Startup sound is turned on for all users. Enabling or Disabling this setting automatically prevents users from customizing the default behavior of the Windows Startup Sound.
How to Enable the Windows Startup Sound in Windows 8
Step 1
Move the cursor on the right-bottom and select the search box and enter into the search box what you want, as in:

In the search box you enter the gpedit.msc under the application tab and click on the window that is shown; see:

In the window that is shown, you will see the "Local Group Policy Editor" window, as in:

In this step I want to Enable the Windows Startup Sound in Windows 8. Click on the Computer Configuration sub-category Administrative Templates sub-category System sub-category Logon and click on the "Turn Off Windows Startup Sound".

In this step right-click on the "Turn Off Windows Startup Sound" and select the edit tab and click on the edit tab.

In this step, if you click on "Disabled" or "Not Configured" then the Windows Startup Sound will be turned on for all users.
