Turn On Magnifier in Windows 8

Introduction

This article explains how to turn on the Magnifier in Windows 8. The Magnifier is a display utility that makes your system more readable by creating a separate window. Windows 8 provides the Magnifier. The Magnifier shows a portion of your screen larger in a separate Window. By default the magnifier is turned off.

How to Turn On Magnifier in Windows 8

Step 1: You move your mouse to the bottom-right and click on search as shown below:

Step 2: In the search box, you can type the name "Control Panel" and click on the Control Panel:

Step 3: In the Control Panel, you click the drop-down menu arrow in the category tab and select the "Large Icons":

Step 4: In this step, click on the "Ease of Access Center":

Step 5: In this step, click on link the "Make the Computer easier to see" of "Optimize Visual Display":

Step 6: In this step, you scroll down to see an option where you can turn on the Magnifier. Click the check box to turn on the magnifier and then click the OK or Apply Button.

Step 7: Once it is turned on, you will see a Magnifier Lens on your screen. You click on it to change the settings such as resize, zoom in and zoom out.
