Introduction
Microsoft has launched Windows 8, a new version of Windows that comes with many new features and many changes. Some of the new features are a Start Screen, Charms Bar etc. In Windows 8, the Start Menu has been replaced by the Metro start screen. The Metro start screen is a collection of Metro applications by which we can easily access any application. But some users want to use Windows 8 the same way they did in previous version of Windows such as Windows 7, Vista, XP etc and don't want to use the latest features of Windows 8.
In this article we explain how to disable the Charms Bar, Start Screen and Application Switching in Windows 8. To do that you have to use the third-party application "Skip Metro suit setting". Skip Metro suit setting is a small application by which you can easily disable Charm Bar, Start Screen, Application Switching etc. If you want to disable the Charm Bar without the help of a third-party application then you need to change the "Registry" setting in Windows 8.
