Change Our Keyboard Layout in Windows 8

Introduction

In this article we are going to explain how to change our keyboard layout in Windows 8. In the Windows 8 Control Panel there is a small change that involves splitting the Region and Language applets into two separate applets.

Procedure for changing our Keyboard Layout in Windows 8

Step 1

In the Windows 8 Desktop, first we press the "Windows + R" key in our keyboard.

Step 2

The Run window opens. Then type "control panel" into the Run box and click "OK".

 

Step 3

To save a few clicks, switch to the Small icons view.

 

Step 4

Then go ahead and select the new Language option.

 

Step 5

On the right-hand side you will see an options hyperlink, click on it.

 

Step 6

It is over here that you will be able to add and remove keyboard layouts.
