How to hide a drive in Windows 8
Step 1
First we right-click on the computer and select "Manage" on the Windows 8 Desktop.

The Computer Management window wll then appear. Then double-click on the "storage" option.

Now we select to open the Disk Management snap-in.

After opening the Disk Management console, we select a drive to hide in the bottom section of the snap-in. Right-click on it and choose the "Change Drive Letter and Paths" option from the context menu.

When the dialog box pops up hit the remove button so that it does not have a drive letter.

Step 6
You will be prompted warning you that programs that use drive letters will no longer function, choose "Yes" to continue.
