Install .Net Framework 3.5 on Windows 8

Introduction

In this article we are going to explain how to install the .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 8. Windows 8 includes, by default, .NET Framework 4.5 but no longer includes .NET Framework 3.5. This article will help you enable the .NET Framework 3.5 which will also install .NET 3.0 and 2.0. Windows 8 displays the message "An app on your PC needs the following Windows feature" ".Net Framework 3.5 (Includes 3.0 and 2.0)".

Use the following steps to install .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 8

Step 1

First of all we have to move on the Start screen window of Windows 8.

Step 2

Then we have to move on Desktop of Windows 8.

Step 3

Open My Computer in Windows 8.

Step 4

Then we click the computer tab and select the uninstall or change a program.

Step 5

Then we click "Turn windows features on or off" on the left side of the program and features window setting.

Step 6

In the Windows Feature dialog click on ".Net Framework 3.5" and click OK and use followiing steps.

Step 7

Select Download files from Windows Update.

After the files are automatically downloaded, .Net Framework 3.5 will be installed.
