How to Change Language Preferences in Windows 8

Introduction

As we know that Windows 8 OS supports many languages and every user knows that language selection is done at the time of installation of any operating system versions on their PC. However there are some users who wish to add multiple languages which allows them to change the Windows display language. In this article we will also learn how to add and remove various languages in your language preference list, the Windows display language and other personalizations.

How to change language preferences in Windows 8.

Step 1

First of all we have to move on the Start screen window of Windows 8.

Step 2

Then move the cursor on bottom-right of the window screen and click the search box which is helpful for searching in Windows 8.

Step 3

Then in the search box type "control panel" and click on Apps from the right sidebar then click Control Panel in the main window.

Step 4

Now in the Control Panel list scroll down to the last option and click MORE SETTINGS.

Step 5

On performing this action in the new window click and select change display language which is under clock, language and region option.

Step 6

Now you will see under the language window all the options with which you can personalize Windows. For example click on the Add a language button and select the one which you are looking for and click on open>>Add to list.
