Introduction
This article is helpful for understandiing how to fix the disk space to be used for temporary internet files in Internet Explorer in Windows 8. By default, the recommended space for temporary internet files is between 50-250 MB but sometimes our temporary files may require more space than allotted. If we have a habit of deleting history, cookies or temporary files then the disk space required will be minimal and if not so then the space assigned will be greater.
So this article is dedicated to showing how to easily change the amount of space for this purpose.
How to change the disk space for internet temporary files
Step 1
First of all we have to move to the Start screen window of Windows 8.
Step 2
Then move the cursor on the bottom-right of the window screen and click the search box which is helpful to search in Windows 8.

Then in the search box type "Desktop" and click on Apps from the right sidebar then click Desktop in the main window.

Now open Internet Explorer in your PC from the taskbar as shown in the image.

Now click on the tools icon and select "Internet options".

When you click internet options a new window will open labeled Internet options.

Now that the internet options window pops up in the general tab, click on SETTINGS under the browsing history.

When you click on SETTINGS under the browsing history a new window will open labeled with Website Data Settings.

Finally here in the Website data settings window we have an option to change the disk space for temporary internet files. Just clicking on the up-down arrows, fix or allot memory space then click on OK.
