Introduction
Windows 8 is a collection of new builtin features like Windows Security Center alerts. These Windows Security Center alerts pops up alert messages when an action needs attention to resolve security risks of your computer. In the Security Center Alerts you will see the security messages such as Windows Update, Spyware and related protection, Internet Security Settings, User Account Controls, Network Firewall, Virus Protection and Smart Screen.
So in this article I have described the easiest way to enable Windows Security Center alert messages in Windows 8. However by default it is enabled but if someone has disabled it then we will learn how it can be enabled.
How to turn on Windows Security Center alerts in Windows 8
Step 1
First of all we have to move to the Start screen window of Windows 8.
Step 2
Then move the cursor on the bottom-right of the window screen and click the search box which is helpful to search in Windows 8.

Then in the search box type "control panel" and click on Apps from the right sidebar then click Control Panel in the main window.

On performing this task the Control Panel window will appear.
Step 5
Now in the Control Panel window just select the "System and Security" option.
Step 6
Now in the "System and Security" window just select the "Action Center" option.
Step 7
Now in the "Action Center" window just select the "Change Action Center Settings" option.
Step 8
On performing this task a "Change Action Center Settings" window will appear with options to turn messages on or off under which all the security messages are listed. Now just check the ones you wish to enable and to make sure just click OK.
