View the Test Results, Block the Test and Re-run the Test Using Microsoft Test Manager2010

In this article, you will learn where to view the test result after executing a test. It also describes how to block and re-run a specific test using Microsoft Test Manager 2010.

View the test Results

After running the particular test, you can view the test results under the view results section.

Select the particular test case and click the "View Results" button.

The test results of the particular test run is displayed.



Here you can also add the attachments, link the bug or create the bug with the particular test result and save the changes in the test results.

The user can view the Summary, details and result history for the particular test.

How to Block the Test

If you want to block the test, select the test case from the run tests window and click the block the test button.



The particular test case will be blocked.



Re-Run Test

If you want to execute the test case again, select the test case from the run tests window and click the Re-run test button.



The test case State will become "Active". Now you can again execute the test.
