You can also create your own Windows 8 shortcut like Shutdown on the Start Screen.In this article we are going to learn how to create your own shortcut shutdown icon on the start screen.Steps to be followed:Step 1 Go to the following path in the system:Step 2 Create your own shortcut of shutdown. Enter the name of your shortcut.Step 6 You will see a shutdown icon on the left side of the screen like this:Step 7 Right-click on the icon to select it. This will show a bar on the bottom of the screen.Step 8 Click on the Pin to Start from the bottom of the bar of the screen.
Now you can see the new shutdown shortcut on the start or main screen.
