But, besides this default nature we are also able to update the Windows 8 manually by checking for available updates and easily install new updates.So, now I will show you the procedure needed to check for new updates for Windows 8 and install them.Note: You need to be connected to the internet to check for updates.Here are steps.Step 1Hover the mouse over the bottom-right corner of the screen to bring up the Charms menu. Select the "Setting" option from it.
Step 2 In this Settings menu select the "Change PC settings" option. Step 3Select "Windows Update" from the left panel.Step 4Then, press the "Check for updates now" button from the right panel.Step 5This will connect to Microsoft's online update center to check for any updates available that you don't have yet.Press "Install". This will download new updates and install it automatically.The updates will download, and then install automatically.Step 6Once Windows 8 has finished installing the updates, all it takes is a quick restart for them to take effect.Step 7Now, this will install new updates upon restart of Windows 8.
