Stop Using Location Information in Windows 8

Windows 8 comes with many awesome apps in which one of them is a Maps application that can give the user's location. But sometimes the user does not want to show their location. So, this article will be useful for those who are very conscious of privacy, especially when using the Maps application.
 
So, here I will show you how you can stop providing your location to protect your privacy by preventing the application from showing or giving the user's location information of the system.
 
 Steps to be followed.
 
 Step 1
 
Open the Charm by moving the mouse pointer to the bottom-right corner of the screen. Or you can press the Win+I key together to open the charm. Select the Setting Option from it.
 

 
 Step 2
 
 Select the Change PC setting from there.
 

 
 Step 3
 
 Now click on the Privacy option from the left panel of the window.
 

 
 Step 4
 
 You will see some setting options on the right side.
 

 
 Step 5
 
 Now, you need to turn off the first option "Let apps use my location" by moving the slider to the left.
