Highlighting and Locating the Test Object in Object Repository

Highlighting a Object in the Object Repository

You can highlight a test object in your object repository in the application you are testing. When highlighting a test object, Quicktest indicates the selected object's location in your application by temporarily showing a frame around the object and causing it to flash briefly. The application must be open to the correct context so that the object is visible.

We can locate a test object in the object repository by selecting it from the application. For example, to locate an image of Find a Flight in a Web Page, you can select it in your web page using the pointing hand. After selecting the Find a Flight image object from the selection dialog box, then click OK, then the parent hierarchy tree expands in the object repository and the Find a Flight image test object is highlighted.
