How to Configure the Phone and Modem Settings For the Fax Server

Introduction

In today's article you will learn how to configure the phone and modem settings for the Fax Server.

Step 1

First of all open "Run" from the Start Menu.

Now your Run dialog box will be opened, where first nothing will be shown.

Step 2

Now type "Control Telephony" in the Run dialog box and then click on the "Ok" Button.

Now your Location Information Page will be opened.

Step 3

In the Location Information page provide the country in which you live.

After that provide the City code in which you live.

Step 4

The Carrier Code option is disabled in my system, if it's available for your system then you can provide it as well. After that provide a number to access the outside line.

Now provide whether your system uses Tone Dialing or Pulse Dialing.

After providing all this information click on the "Ok" Button.
