In any Microsoft Windows version, you can
create a partition or volume on a hard disk so that you can store data in
them. But sometimes the condition arises when you have to reformat or
repartition your hard disk because your entire hard disk has become corrupt
and in that case it is essential for you to erase the entire hard disk and
recreate the partions in it. If you are a Windows 8 user and want to erase
the hard disk then you have to follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Login to the Windows 8
computer on which a new hard disk is physically connected.
Note: Make sure that you use an
administrator account to log on.
Step 2: From the given option
available on the applications Click on Desktop.
Step 3: Right-click on the Computer icon and from the context menu that appears click on Manage option.
Step 4: On Computer Management, click on Disk Management from the left side and from the right, right click on the disk that you want to erase.
Step 5: From the context menu click on Delete Volume.
Note: On Deleting simple volume warning box wil open and in there click on Yes button to continue the deletion process.
