Create Team Site In SharePoint 2013 Online

Introduction

This article is a refresher on what is new in the Sharepoint2013 online new version of the Office 365 improved site creation, look, and feel. A SharePoint team site connects you and your team to the content, information, and apps you rely on every day.

Click the Create Site link button to create a new Site in O365


For example, you can use a team site to store and collaborate on files or to create and manage lists of information. On a team site home page, you can view links to important team files, apps, and web pages and see recent site activity in the activity feed.




Members will receive group conversations and events in their inbox. They can unsubscribe themselves at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link in group emails.


Then Click Finish button to save the new Team site .




You can keep your team in the loop as well as engage them with important or interesting stories by using the News feature on your Group team site. You can quickly create eye-catching posts like announcements, people news, status updates, and more that can include graphics and rich formatting.

Click the news button to save the new News Page.

Web parts are the building blocks of your page. You'll see them when you click the + sign on the page to add content to your page.


SharePoint O365 supports you so you can share the page by clicking Share at the top of the page. SharePoint 2013 pages are a great way to share ideas using images, Excel, Word and PowerPoint documents, video, and more.
