How To Synchronize Windows 10 Time With The Internet Time Server

Introduction

 

In Microsoft Windows 10, you use the date and time not just to see the time; as most applications in the computer need to use the processes' date and time, so as to operate properly. When you have selected the right time zone and the time on the system is no longer right, then you can synchronize it with a Web Time Server to get the  accurate time.

 

As a matter of course, Windows 10 will synchronize the time once every week when it’s linked to the Web.

 

Note

You must be subscribed as an administrator to be able to synchronize the time.

 

Step 1

 

First, you can right-click on the Start icon and click Control Panel option.

 

 

Step 2

 

In this step, when you will click on Control Panel option, a new dialogue box opens, as shown below.

 

 

Step 3

 

In this step, when the new dialogue box opens, you’ll find the Date and Time option, as shown below.

 

 

Step 4

 

In this step, when you can click on the Date and Time option, a new dialogue box will open, as shown below.

 

 

Step 5

 

In this step, when the new dialogue box opens, you’ll find the Internet Time option, which can be clicked on Change Settings button, as shown below.

 

 

Step 6

 

In this step, you can check 'Synchronize with an Internet time server' and select Server from the the drop-down list. Click update now button, as shown below.
