Steps To Configure A VPN

In this article I am going to show you the steps to configure a VPN. Follow the below steps to configure your VPN:

Step 1

Click on "Network and Sharing Center" from "Control Panel" items,

Step 2

Click on "Set up a new connection or network" from "Network and Sharing Center"

Step 3

Click on "Connect to a workplace (list item)" from "Set Up a Connection or Network"

Step 4

Click on "Next (push button)" in "Set Up a Connection or Network"

Step 5

Select first option and Click on "Next" button from "Connect to a Workplace"

Step 6

Click on "Use my Internet connection (VPN)" from "Connect to a Workplace"

Step 7

Click on "Internet address(editable text)" from "Connect to a Workplace"

Step 8

Enter the "Internet Address" (Ex“xxx.xxxx.com”)

Step 9

Enter the Destination Name in Destination Name field, below screenshot for reference,

Step 10

Once you enter the "Destination Name", Click on “Next” Button,

Step 11

Enter Your Domain User account (Which is using for System Login) name in "User Name" field,

Step 12

Enter your user account password in "Password" field,

Step 13

Enter your domain name in "Domain" field,

Step 14

Click on "Connect" button in "Connect to a Workplace",

Step 15

If you get a message like "You are connected" then Click on "Close" button in "Connect to a Workplace" popup. It means you are connected to a Network,

Step 16

The connected Network account will be visible like below in "View Available Networks",
