I have attended the Microsoft TechEd 2012 which held in Lalit Ashok Hotel at bangalore from last week. (March 21- 23, 2012).
Highlights of the Event:
- Lot of Microsoft product developer specialist, Microsoft Technology Evangelist, R&D director of Micorosft India, Director of Microsoft India,etc.,
- There was few stall in the event, they were showcasing their products. They are Nokia, Intel, Infosys, Microsoft Virtual Academy, Microsoft System center, PluralSight, InfraLogistics, Windows Azure team, Visual Studio 11 Beta, etc.,
- First time they introduced the hands on lab to the developers. (Limited Seat!!!)
- At most all the stall where announcing the lucky drawn in every one hour.
Microsoft showcased some of the products and components:
- Microsoft Visual Studio 11 Beta
- Windows Azure
- Windows Mobile
- Windows 8
- XBOX 360
- TFS integration with Visual Studio
- Sql Server 2012
- IntelliTrace with Visual Studio
- Metro Style Application
Highlights:
- The Nokia and Microsoft expect that windows mobile will be big hit and they can be at No 2 in some point of time
- Metro style will be big asset for windows as well web.
- Cloud will be dominant for next few years
