Internet Information Server
Before installing of IIS let’s get familiar with Internet Information Service (IIS).
According to Wikipedia Internet Information Services (IIS, formerly Internet Information Server) is an extensible web server created by Microsoft for use with Windows NT family. IIS supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, SMTP and NNTP. It has been an integral part of the Windows NT family since Windows NT 4.0, though it may be absent from some editions (e.g. Windows XP Home edition), and is not active by default.

Step 1: Open Control Panel then click Programs and Features,
Step 2: Click on Turn Windows Features On/Off,
Step 3: Click on Internet Information Services and Select component,
Step 4: After clicking OK, this dialog will appear on your screen for a while,
Step 5: When its done, I’ll showhow it changes messages,
Step 6: Click on Administrative tools,
Step 7: It’ll show the IIS Shortcut link,
Step 8: Open IIS Manager,fire up your browser and navigate to localhost,
