When Caret browsing feature is enabled in IE 8, we can use navigation keys on keyboard to select text and move around within the web page. We can enable this feature by pressing F7 or going to View menu --> Caret Browsing. By enabling this feature, we no need to use mouse to select text or navigate within web page. We can use keyboard navigation keys:
Home, End, Page Up, Page Down and arrow keys.
To select text, hold Shift key and press arrow keys.
It will show caret or cursor that appears in a editable document in web page, when this feature is enabled.
