Moving SPD workflows from Development to Production

As you all know that, SharePoint Designer workflows are not Portable i.e. its not easy to move from one environment to another.

 

In this blog, I m giving you the various options to move the SPD workflows.

 

1. Recreate it in production server
2. Perform a Backup/Restore
3. Create a template file
4. Using content deployment
5. Using Export to Visio” and the “Import from Visio” feature in SPD 2010.
