I have created a sharepoint solution using Visual Studio 2010. This solution contains a "Web" scoped feature. I dont want to activate the feature when i deploy the solution from Visual Studio 2010(Right click the solution and then click on Deply). Right click the solution and click on Properties. Click on SharePoint tab. Select "No Activation" in the "Active Deployment Configuration". So once the solution is deployed , by default feature will not be activated. This "No Activation" option works only for "Site" and "Web" scoped feature.
